Informatica Tech Lead – Calgary


Key Note - 
Rock solid guys who are working as architect or senior architect. The resource needs to know the following :
  • Expert knowledge of transactional control (state management) within workflow with multi-threaded processing
  • Modes and methods of integration with external systems, including web services
  • Discrete deterministic algorithm design
  • SQL tuning
  • Experience with resolving constraint errors and table rows locking

Role Expectations:

  • Develop Informatica technical specifications based on the functional requirements.
  • Adhere to the customer’s Informatica Development Guidelines.
  •  Lead and motivate a team of Informatica developers in programming activities, ensuring customer Architectural and coding standards are met. 
  • Manage the deliverables of the Informatica developers by planning and prioritizing the scheduled work assignments
  • Utilize, where possible, customer’s code analysis tool to eliminate all errors prior to business testing.
  • Perform unit testing prior to releasing code for formal testing
  • Participate in defining the scope of subsequent Touchdown Cycles.
  • Prepare status reports to keep management, clients, and others informed of activities and issues.

Key Deliverables:

  • Responsible or participate in the creation of Technical Specifications
  • Determine development estimate for each technical specifications.
  • Assign programming activities to developers
  • Ensure Informatica developers meet time estimates.
  • Technical Knowledge Transfer for each cycle.
  • 8 -10 years of progressive Informatica technical (development) knowledge and experience leading a team of developers.
  • Experience working with Informatica versions 9.1 would be an asset.
  • Application working knowledge of Oracle databases
  • Ability to develop and/or modify programs to meet business requirements.
  • Knowledge of established programming methodologies for Informatica.

Experience Required:
  • 8 -10 years of progressive Informatica technical (development) knowledge and experience leading a team of developers.
  • Experience working with Informatica versions 9.1 would be an asset.
  • Application working knowledge of Oracle databases
  • Ability to develop and/or modify programs to meet business requirements.
  • Knowledge of established programming methodologies for Informatica.
